A Bit About Me
My clinical work has brought me into contact with people navigating the emotional realities of migration, cultural displacement, trauma, addiction, and relational violence. Over the years, I have worked with immigrant communities, survivors of domestic violence, members of the queer community, veterans, and individuals struggling with severe mental health and substance use challenges.
These experiences have deepened my understanding of how pain is often carried not only within the individual, but also through families, communities, and generations. I am particularly interested in the ways trauma can shape one’s sense of identity, intimacy, belonging, and emotional safety — especially for those living between cultures or carrying histories that have had little space to be spoken about openly.
My approach is psychodynamic and culturally attentive. I aim to offer a therapeutic space where difficult experiences can gradually be thought about, felt, and understood with care rather than judgment.
